小林万利佳
Marika Kobayashi
Professional ballet dancer
was born in Japan and received her early training at Epris Ballet Studio. She continued her training at Elmhurst School for Dance in the United Kingdom where she won the "Grand Prix" and "Most Promising Female" awards in school competition. Marika then studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's graduate program on full scholarship before joining State Street Ballet in 2015 where she danced principal and soloist roles. She has performed the leading roles of Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Peasant Pas de deux in Giselle, Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty. She has also performed the dual roles of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake in 2018, the title role of Firebird in 2022 as a Principal Guest Artist at Fresno Ballet Theatre. After leaving State Street Ballet in 2024, she has been performing as a guest freelance dancer.
She is also passionate about sharing contents about ballet dancers’ mental health / wellbeing on social media.

埼玉県生まれ。
2歳よりバレエを始める。9歳より榊原有佳子に師事。
全国バレエコンクールで数々の賞を受賞。
16歳より英国（バーミンガム） Elmhurst Ballet Schoolへ留学。
在学中、校内コンクールにて第1位と“Most Promissing Famale”賞を受賞。
その後、アメリカに拠点を移し、San Diego Ballet、Pittsburgh Ballet Theater を経て、2015年State
Street Balletに入団。
年間約40公演の舞台に立ち、「くるみ割り人形」金平糖の精、クララなどの主要な役を踊る。
Fresno Ballet Theatre にプリンシパルゲストアーティストとして 2018年に「白鳥の湖」全幕にてオディットと
オディール、2022年に「火の鳥」のタイトルロールを踊る。
2024年に退団し、現在はフリーとして活躍中。
SNSでもバレリーナのメンタルヘルスについて積極的に発信している。
